TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Stella Kelly School of Music offers music tuition to the client (you) upon the following terms and conditions:

(1). Enrolment
-
The minimum enrolment at Stella Kelly School of Music is one term (according to Western Australia public school term dates, lessons do not run on recognised public holidays and will be excluded from the term invoice).
-
Lesson times are in 30-minute, 45-minute or 60-minute time slots. (Please note that late arrival will not extend the lesson time beyond the enrolled time slot).
-
Any enrolments that are made during a term will require payment for the remainder of the term. The payment will be received by Stella Kelly School of Music before the first lesson can commence.
-
Trial lessons are $50 per 30-minute lessons and do not require enrolment for the term. However, payment is still required in advance to secure the date and time of the lesson.
(2). Fees
-
All term fees must be paid by the due date stated in your invoice.
-
This payment will secure a set day and time for each week of the term that you are enrolling in.
-
If full payment is not received by the due date, your booking will be cancelled. Lessons will not commence until payment is received and the agreed time and date for your lesson will become available to other students.
-
If you bring your child to the agreed time slot without paying your term fees beforehand, you will be required to pay your fees in full via Square. All fees incurred with this method of payment will be passed onto the client.
(3). Cancellations, Refunds and Credits
-
Term payment reserves a teacher for a specific time each week of the term, therefore, after the commencement of the term, no refund will be given in the event of cancellation, withdrawal or non-attendance.
-
No credit lessons will be given for any missed lesson.
-
No credit lessons will be given to students who take holidays within the school terms.
-
A courtesy call to let the school know when a student is not able to attend a lesson is always appreciated, however, notice of non-attendance will not result in a credit.
-
In the event of a lesson cancellation by the teacher, the student’s lesson will be rescheduled to their regular time slot in the final two weeks of term (non-billing weeks).
-
In the event that a teacher must cancel a lesson you will be notified by a phone call or a text message. Please ensure that Stella Kelly School of Music has your current contact details.
(4). Staff
-
All staff at Stella Kelly School of Music have a valid WWCC (Working With Children Card).
(5). Parents
-
Parents are responsible for ensuring children are not left unattended before and after lessons. Stella Kelly School of Music is not responsible for students outside their lesson times or away from the studio premises.
(6). Media
-
Stella Kelly School of Music reserves the right and may give permission to appropriate staff or outside media, to photograph and record (video or audio) classes, programs, and participants at our facilities and/or events.
-
These photos or recordings may be used for promotional purposes.
-
You can indicate in writing that you object to this condition, otherwise, by participating in Stella Kelly School of Music programs, you consent to video or audio recordings, or the taking of photographs for these purposes.
-
Client or student names will not be used or released without consent from the person responsible for the student.
(7). Acceptance of Stella Kelly School of Music’s offer and conditions
-
Booking a date and time with Stella Kelly School of Music will be considered an acceptance of our offer to provide music tuition to the client, and the terms and conditions outlined above will be considered as being read and understood.
